Welcome! In a GREEN KEY GOLD venue
Sky high vaulted arches and beautiful treasures. The newly restored Pieterskerk in Leiden is an awesome building with a fascinating history. This makes it a memorable setting for any event - whether it's a formal dinner or wedding, a conference or a fair in the choir and nave, a concert under the stained-glass windows or a committee meeting in the seventeenth-century style Church Warden’s room. The Pieterskerk is a historic meeting place for all your events, a place that you and your guests will always remember.
Special Pieterskerk Leiden stamp
The Leyden Association of stamp collectors each year presents a special stamp. And in 2012, that is a stamp with the theme of the tower of the Pieterskerk Leiden. This tower collapsed in the night of the 4th and 5th March 1512 , and was never rebuilt.
On January 13th 2012, this special stamp was presented by Frieke Hurkmans (director of the Pieterskerk) and Frans Hemelop (designer of the stamp) to the oldest resident of Leiden, mevrouw Langezaal-Timmers (107 years).
